At the beginning of the event, Ms. Song Yang, Founder and CEO of Concora, delivered an opening speech on behalf of all Concora employees to the participants. She enthusiastically introduced the origin of the name EverLab and explained the significance of each letter in detail. She also extended New Year’s wishes to the scientific researchers.

The name EverLab represents the core philosophy of the laboratory – to empower significant evolutionary research. Each letter stands for a specific term, forming a meaningful whole:

“E” stands for “Empowering,” emphasizing the laboratory’s support and empowerment of scientific researchers; “V” stands for “Vital,” highlighting the laboratory’s focus on important life phenomena and processes; the second “E” stands for “Evolutionary,” emphasizing the laboratory’s focus on the cutting-edge field of evolutionary research; “R” stands for “Research,” emphasizing the scientific research value of the laboratory.

During the event, professional floristry teachers shared fascinating flower arrangement techniques and the language of flowers with the participants. The floristry teachers provided a detailed introduction to the characteristics and uses of different floral materials, demonstrating how to select and pair fresh flowers and apply floristry skills to create exquisite floral art pieces. Participants actively tried various arranging methods, with each carefully placed flower showcasing unique beauty.

Additionally, the floristry teachers imparted knowledge about the language of flowers, allowing participants to understand that floristry is not only an art form but also a way to express emotions and convey blessings. By creating their own floral arrangements, participants used fresh flowers to express their blessings and good wishes for the New Year.

This event was not only a celebration to welcome the New Year but also provided a relaxing and enjoyable break for the laboratory’s resident company members. The event offered a unique craft experience and provided a rare creative space for busy scientific workers to relieve work pressure and inspire boundless creativity.

As the event drew to a close, everyone’s floral arrangements became a beautiful sight for the Spring Festival at Concora Place, bringing a warm and festive atmosphere to the entire park. With blossoms in full bloom, the creative craft event at EverLab marked a beautiful start to the year’s work.
